Sworn translation from German into Spanish and Catalan
Official translations of German documents, signed and sealed by a sworn translator and valid before public bodies in Spanish and in Catalan.
Documents I translate
- Birth, marriage and death certificates and criminal record certificates
- Diplomas and academic transcripts
- Contracts, deeds and notarial documents
- Court rulings and judicial documents
- Company, insurance and patent documents
Spanish or Catalan
You can order the sworn translation in Spanish, in Catalan or in both languages. Many procedures with the Catalan administration can be filed in Catalan, and a German–Catalan sworn translation saves you intermediate steps.
How it works
You send me the scanned document, I give you a quote and a deadline, and once translated you receive the sworn translation, signed and sealed.
Official appointment
I am registered as a sworn translator-interpreter for German in the register of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (no. 2897) and in the Register of sworn translators and interpreters of the Generalitat de Catalunya (no. 516).
FAQ
What is a sworn translation?
It is a translation that certifies the text is faithful and complete with respect to the original. It is signed and sealed by a sworn translator and has official validity before public bodies.
Do I also need an apostille or legalisation of the original document?
It depends on the authority and on the country where the document was issued. Ask me and I will tell you what you will be asked for.
How much does it cost and how long does it take?
It depends on the length and type of document. Send me a copy and I will give you a free quote and a deadline.
